FA10AM−4 is an audio diode that mitigates the risks of eavesdropping, when using peripheral audio devices, by forcing unidirectional audio flow and a using low−pass filter.

- Audio Data Hacking Prevention — The diode blocks listening in to surrounding conversations, by forcing unidirectional flow. This prevents hackers from manipulating a speaker/headphone to function as a microphone, for picking up surrounding conversations. In addition, all sounds passing through the Audio Diode go through a low–pass filter that restricts the audio frequencies to the range compatible with the human ear. This prevents hackers from attacking by broadcasting high–frequency signals to an external hacking device.
- Easy Installation — Quickly connects to the host PC and audio device.
- Convenient Control — Push a button to activate the speaker/headphone, switch off access while users are away, set how long the speaker remains open when conducting a Skype call, and, if needed, extend the time by re–pressing the button at the end of the set period to continue the conversation.
- Smart Button Operation — Registers a press–and–release as a single event, to prevent pressing and holding the button nonstop. When pressing the speaker button, if no sound is heard for 20 seconds, it disconnects automatically.
